Saturday

Darling Husband left around 5 p.m. on Christmas day, after a week at home he had to go back to work. This trip will take him to Oregon. The load delivers on Tuesday so there will be a lot of hard driving to get there on time. I spoke to him a short time ago and the interstate ahead was closed due to weather. He said he would call when he stopped for the night. I always worry when he is on the road. So many people driving cars do not understand the power of the 18 wheeler or how difficult it is to stop a loaded one. I worry more about the unsafe drivers of cars than anything else. Thank goodness Husband is very cautious and always has his eye on the other guy! Should be an interesting trip and I am so glad he has his camera. There should be some beautiful scenery along the way that will make great pictures.

Tuesday Afternoon

Waiting patiently for the hour to get here that  I can go watch my Granddaughter cheer for the first time at school. She is in the 6th grade and this is the first game. I am excited for her. Not going to watch the game, not at all, just going to watch her. She makes me smile, and laugh. She is such a girl! She is beautiful. What? What did you say? Naaa, I don't think that just because she is my first grandchild. It is the truth! I wish her Grandpa could be here to see her. To take pictures. But he is not, so I will do the best I can with the camera I have. Then send them to him through the phone. What a great time we live in! So now I must go. It is time.
